Directions 2007 summary results from New Zealand are available via download , including order information for the full summary report. With significant participation nationwide and across industries, New Zealand shows continued strong demand for independent directors.

Significant regional differences exist in the application of governance practices, and specific diversity issues are highlighted.

More than 2,100 responses were received from directors, managers and shareholders in New Zealand, generated through surveys distributed by 16 sponsoring firms, organizations and government agencies.

In New Zealand the Minister for Women Affairs Lianne Dalziel announced the Directions work as part of the Government's efforts to increase the participation of women in governance. In Brazil, Directions results were presented at the refereed IntEnt 2006 conference in Sao Paulo.
